Kyoto, 12th century. To uncover the story of the murder of a samurai and his wife, four witnesses are summoned to court to give their testimony and report on what they saw.
The movie will be preceded by a brief introductory presentation and followed by a discussion led by Frédéric Charbonneau (McGill University literature professor ).
