Welcome to the Museum’s School of Art!
To safely resume its activities during the pandemic, the Education and Wellness Department has decided to offer an abridged online program of our most popular workshops through the Zoom platform (link coming soon). Each class will be recorded and available throughout the entire week after the class if you happen to miss it.
In this class, we will draw the human body based on works by classical and contemporary artists. The class will explore a number of concepts essential to understanding and drawing this complex subject, such as anatomy, volume, movement, and hatching patterns.
Instructor: Helena Vallée Dallaire, artist and museum mediator
To facilitate participation, our instructors have ordered materials kits through our partner DeSerres, which you can purchase on-line and have delivered to your door or arrange to pick up at a DeSerres location. Prices vary according to the selection of materials.
There is a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 8 participants for each series. If the minimum is not reached, the series will be cancelled.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations made seven (7) business days or more before the first class of your registered workshop will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than seven(7) business days before the activity begins, unless the cancellation is made for unavoidable circumstances, in which case fees will be refunded in full.
