About Evenings on Du Musée Avenue
Every Wednesday during the summer, get ready to move it and shake it during the popular Evenings on Du Musée Avenue. Take advantage of the Museum’s extended opening hours to visit our exhibitions!

Transformed into a pedestrian oasis during the summer, Du Musée Avenue offers an exciting program of musical and artistic activities from July 8 to September 6.

Come and discover a playful and vibrant fresco inviting passersby to celebrate sport in all its forms, or take a break and enjoy the sunshine while admiring our green spaces and Sculpture Garden.

Ready, set, go!

À propos Emmanuel Lacopo
Montreal-based post-classical guitarist and composer Emmanuel Lacopo skillfully explores the place of the guitar in classical music today. Recognized by CBC Music, he creates immersive soundscapes that blend classical guitar with live electronic music, ambient music and post-rock.

About the film
Presented by Cinéma du Musée, Bend It Like Beckham (2002) tells the story of Jess, a young woman from a strict Indian family, who lives in London. Despite her parents’ wishes, Jess dreams of playing professional football like her hero David Beckham. She secretly joins a local female team, and then must pull off some fancy footwork to live her passion for the sport while navigating traditional cultural values, friendship and budding romance.
