In connection with the exhibition Parall(elles): A History of Women in Design, the Museum’s School for the Arts has teamed up with Montreal-based community workshop Les Affûtés to offer a variety of courses that teach handicraft skills! Please note that these courses are given in French.

This 3-hour workshop led by Diana, a leatherworker by profession, will be a great opportunity to discover the secrets of leatherwork. You will learn different basic techniques such as: cutting the material, marking and opening the stitches, pattern cutting, sewing the binding by hand, and finishing the leather.
