Wildlife photographer Vincent Munier travels the Tibetan plateau with writer Sylvain Tesson (The Consolations of the Forest: Alone in a Cabin on the Siberian Taiga). For months under often-challenging climatic conditions, they patiently track the elusive snow leopard, a creature whose rarity and magnificence border on myth. Documentarist Marie Amiguet maintains a low profile as she captures the fierce beauty of the landscape, a rugged, unforgiving terrain that forms the backdrop for the reflections of two artists on the troubled relationship between humankind and the environment. A poetic meditation infused with sincerity and simplicity that questions our relationship with nature and the threat human activity poses to the planet.
