Trio Fibonacci - The Seasons

Guest presenters

In Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons, twelve short pieces sketch the twelve months of the year. From the comforting warmth of January – By the Fireside to the gentle, dreamlike barcarolle of June, the composer delicately explores the nuances of nature and human emotion as time flows by. Recomposed: The Four Seasons then revisits Vivaldi’s legendary work. By reimagining this emblematic piece, Max Richter breathes into it a hypnotic music at the crossroads of classical, minimalist, and baroque styles. The encounter between these two masterpieces—separated by centuries yet united by the ever-changing beauty of nature—reminds us that time passes… but music, somehow, renders it eternal.
