This major multidisciplinary exhibition takes an in-depth look at the music in the life, work and meteoric career of Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988), the sounds that he conveyed through painting and the musicians who inspired him. A feast for the eyes as well as the ears, it brings together over a hundred works in addition to many audio clips, never-before-seen videos, notebooks and rare archival materials.
