In designing all of its school program activities, the Museum uses a participatory approach to meet the specific needs of each group. Students are guided through their discovery of artworks by means of observation questions, games and mediation activities that are adapted to their level of understanding.

Most activities include a creative component that bridges theory and practice and offers a positive experience with art.

The MMFA’s educational activities are framed within a cultural teaching approach. In addition to fostering the students’ cross-curricular competency development, they enable children to draw links between the various subjects and put what they’ve learned in context.
