To mark the 50th anniversary of the Montreal Olympics, from June 15 to October 12, 2026, the MMFA is highlighting a selection of works from its collection that are related to sport.

On your next visit, put on your comfy shoes and make your way through the Museum’s pavilions in search of the works included in the selection Ready, Set, Go!
Spanning different centuries and continents, these works bear witness to the universal nature of both sport and art.
Discover how artists throughout history have been inspired by athletic feats, from the precision of the diver to the perseverance of the hockey player to the swiftness of the sprinter!
