The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is delighted to announce a major donation from Stéphan Crétier and Stéphany Maillery. This remarkable contribution will enable the Museum to realize a large-scale project that celebrates diversity and fosters intercultural dialogue through art: the Stéphan Crétier and Stéphany Maillery Wing for World Cultures and Togetherness, to be inaugurated in one year’s time.

Named in honour of the generous patron-couple, this new wing will be installed on the 4th floor of the Jean‑Noël Desmarais Pavilion, which has been vacant since the MMFA moved its European art collections to the Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace. It will showcase the Museum’s archeology and world cultures collection, one of the largest in Canada.
