Cinéma du Musée marks a year of discoveries for Montreal filmgoers

Just one year ago, Cinéma du Musée proudly opened its doors at the MMFA. This new cinema located in downtown Montreal has enhanced the city’s film offering through its weekly program of international and local films, all while proposing a unique and high-quality experience in an exceptional setting.

Free outdoor screening on Saturday, September 28, at 7.30 p.m.
To celebrate this first anniversary – and tie in with the exhibition Egyptian Mummies: Exploring Ancient Lives – Cinéma du Musée and the MMFA invite the public to a free outdoor screening of Terence Fisher’s film The Mummy (1959, OVFST) on Saturday, September 28 at 7.30 p.m., in the MMFA’s Sculpture Garden on Du Musée Avenue. Join us to re-experience this classic horror movie of the 1950s.
