Halloween: Frighteningly creative on Sunday, October 28

Little monsters and their parents are invited to get into the Halloween spirit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) on Sunday, October 28. For the occasion, they will be treated to a mystery workshop from 1 to 2 p.m. and from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. In this themed workshop for children ages 6 and up, participants will get inspired by Halloween and the MMFA’s permanent collection to create something spooky! Passes to this free bilingual activity will be available at the Museum Ticket Counter (1380 Sherbrooke Street West) as of 10 a.m. on October 28.

On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, the MMFA also invites the general public to visit the exhibition Alexander Calder: Radical Inventor from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is half-price from 5 to 9 p.m. – the perfect opportunity to discover the first major Canadian retrospective of the artist who set sculpture in motion.
