Nearly 160,000 Visitors to MMFA’s Summer Exhibition “Revolution!”

Almost 160,000 people visited REVOLUTION, presented from June 17 to October 9, 2017, at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA). A musical odyssey, this major immersive exhibition brought back the era of Flower Power and the effervescence of the counterculture of the late 1960s, with more than 700 works and documents. REVOLUTION was part of the official programming of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations.
The closing of the exhibition crowned a remarkable summer season at the MMFA, one of the core institutions of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations. Since the beginning of 2017, Museum attendance has increased by 25%.
The exhibition was organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) of London, in collaboration with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. REVOLUTION will travel to the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan from December 4, 2017 to April 4, 2018.
