Nearly 160,000 Visitors to MMFA’s Summer Exhibition "Revolution!"

Almost 160,000 people visited _REVOLUTION_, presented from June 17 to October 9, 2017, at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA). A musical odyssey, this major immersive exhibition brought back the era of Flower Power and the effervescence of the counterculture of the late 1960s, with more than 700 works and documents. _REVOLUTION_ was part of the official programming of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations.

The closing of the exhibition crowned a remarkable summer season at the MMFA, one of the core institutions of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations. Since the beginning of 2017, Museum attendance has increased by 25%.

The exhibition was organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) of London, in collaboration with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. REVOLUTION will travel to the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan from December 4, 2017 to April 4, 2018.
