Tartuffe et la censure avec Anne-Marie Cadieux

In connection with the presentation of the play Tartuffe at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, actress Anne-Marie Cadieux will reflect on censorship and various forms of oppression. With Paul-Émile Borduas’s Black Star as a backdrop, she will read an excerpt from Refus global, the 1948 manifesto that transformed Quebec society. The reading will be followed by a writing workshop featuring automatist techniques.
