Thierry-Maxime Loriot reveives the CAFA 2019 Vanguard Award
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) wishes to congratulate Thierry-Maxime Loriot, curator of the exhibitions Thierry Mugler: Couturissime and Montreal Couture, on receiving the Vanguard Award presented by the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) in Toronto. This prestigious honour recognizes the important contributions Loriot has made to the creative community of Canadian fashion.
The CAFA also celebrated the excellence of other creators whose work can be seen in Thierry Mugler and Montreal Couture: the photographer Max Abadian received the Image Maker of the Year Award; Marie-Ève Lecavalier won the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent in Fashion; and the duo Fecal Matter was honoured with the Digital Fashion Influencer of the Year Award.
