At the Museum, we believe that learning, discovery and wonderment are to be enjoyed life long! That’s why every Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., adults ages 65 and up enjoy free admission to the collection.

To take advantage of this offer, simply arrive at the Museum between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Because, psst! Once you have your ticket, you can stay until closing, at 5 p.m.
Museum visits between now and July 19
Until July 19, between 5 and 9 p.m., only the exhibition The Torlonia Collection will be open to the public. The permanent collection galleries will close at 5 p.m.
Museum visits between July 22 and September 2
Take advantage of summer Wednesdays! From 5 to 9 p.m., all the collections and exhibitions are open for viewing at a reduced price.
The MMFA is a place for learning, sharing and wonderment for anyone of any age. So every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., free access to the Collection is offered to families, thanks to the support of BMO.

Who can partake: families, which we define for this purpose as one or two adults accompanying one or more children aged 17 or under.

The first Sunday of every month, admission to the collection is free for residents of Quebec. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the Museum, return to admire a favourite work or enjoy some culture in good company.

If you want to visit The Torlonia Collection (by July 19):
Select “The Major Exhibition + Museum” ticket. It gives you access to the exhibition as well as all areas of the Museum that are open to the public at the time of your visit.If you don’t intend to visit The Torlonia Collection, or if you plan to visit the Museum after July 19:
Select “The Museum” ticket. It gives you access to all Museum displays and exhibitions except the major exhibition.

Yes, every visitor must have an admission ticket, regardless of age. However, admission is free at all times for those 25 and under!
