The MMFA Foundation’s
2025-2026 Annual Fundraising Campaign

Give

Now is the best time to give!

Until December 31, 2025, every donation made to the MMFA Foundation will be matched (up to a maximum of $150,000), thus multiplying what the Museum is able to accomplish in making art widely accessible.

The MMFA Foundation wishes to thank patrons Sari Hornstein, Dixi Lambert, Alain Bédard and Johanne Dean, Daniel Dion, Linda Snell, Danielle Desloges, Jonathan Kotcheff, Jean-Denis Proulx, Marina Gusti, and Robert Jacob for their generous support in this initiative.

Whether we want to escape, be moved, learn or even find comfort in difficult times, art is there for us. By donating to the Museum, you are there for art, helping our teams preserve its richness and share its magic with as many people as possible.

Support the power of art by contributing to the MMFA Foundation’s 2025-2026 annual fundraising campaign today!

Far from being abstract, the power of art is well documented: in 2019, the World Health Organization published a report highlighting its positive effects on health, well-being, learning, and social cohesion.

As a leader in art therapy and community engagement, the MMFA offers nearly 700,000 visitors experiences that are enriching, uplifting, and at times even restorative.

What’s more, the Museum’s world-class exhibitions and vast collection of nearly 47,000 works of art make the MMFA one of the leading cultural institutions of our city and our country.

As part of several ongoing projects, the Museum is helping:

People living with Alzheimer’s disease gain confidence and express themselves

Seniors improve their well-being, quality of life and physical health

Teachers address various subjects with their students through art, notably as part of the Une œuvre à l’école pilot project

Children from all backgrounds develop their creativity, imagination and ability to adapt to new situations

People with eating disorders break isolation

Young adults with language or sensory disorders develop their social skills, self-esteem, confidence and autonomy

Neurodiverse people appreciate art through the senses thanks to the sensational supplies pack

Art lovers like you who come to the Museum to reflect, feel, recharge and discover

When you give to the MMFA, the whole community benefits.

The Espace Transition initiative helps young patients with mental health issues regain their self-confidence, so they can reintegrate into daily life on solid footing. This program consists of artistic workshops, carried out in collaboration with different partners, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, since 2015. A big thank you on behalf of all these young people and their parents. It’s thanks to you that we’ve been able to bring these workshops to life!
