Bequest formulas

In the event the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation is no longer active, my donation will be made to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, headquartered at 3430 Du Musée Avenue, Montreal, Quebec H3G 2C7.

I specifically bequeath [sum, percentage of your estate, or description of a specific asset]* to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation, a legally constituted entity, registration number 138416268 RR 0001, headquartered at 2189 Bishop Street, Montreal, Quebec H3G 2E8.

In the event the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation is no longer active, my donation will be made to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, headquartered at 3430 Du Musée Avenue, Montreal, Quebec H3G 2C7.

* For bequests of artworks to the MMFA’s collection, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts must be the named beneficiary of this gift.

I understand that any artwork that does not meet the Museum’s acquisition criteria may be transferred to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation or another equivalent organization in order to be sold to benefit the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation or other equivalent organization. I agree that the proceeds from said sale shall serve to finance the Museum’s main priorities.

• Educational or community engagement projects of the Montreal Museum of Fine arts

• Acquisitions of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts by means of the creation of an acquisition fund
