A Modern Schubertiade is an all-new staged performance that puts a contemporary aesthetic spin on the spirit of 19th-century Viennese salons. Under the baton of Xavier Brossard-Ménard, vocal ensemble Les Rugissants combine music and theatre, exploring new ways to embody Schubert’s lieder and reinvent the vocal recital.
