Cameron Crozman, cello & Meagan Milatz, piano - The Brahms Sonatas

Guest presenters

Described as a “simply ideal” partnership by Le Devoir, pianist Meagan Milatz (Prix Opus Discovery of the Year) and cellist Cameron Crozman (“Canada’s next big cello star” CBC Music) make their duo debut at Salle Bourgie. At the heart of the program are Brahms’ two sonatas for cello and piano, towering masterpieces of German romanticism. Complementing these are works by Popper and Dohnányi, evoking two sources of inspiration for Romantic composers: nature and folk music.
