Bourgie Hall presents

Célimène Daudet, piano

Outstanding Pianists

The artistry and dedication of Franco-Haitian pianist Célimène Daudet have earned public and critical acclaim worldwide. She is the recipient of numerous prizes, including Paris’ Pro Musicis International Award, and this recital marks her second appearance at Bourgie Hall. The programme reveals how great composers have influenced and paid tribute to each other through the ages. Time stops in Schubert’s music, evoking the consolation and wholeness found in death, and this ode to immortality is echoed by the hypnotic music of Federico Mompou. Chopin’s Mazurkas end the concert on an evocative and authentic note.
