Escher Quartet & David Fung, piano

Chamber Music

Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet has earned a place among the masterworks of the Romantic repertoire. Joining the Escher Quartet for this performance is pianist David Fung.

Acclaimed by international critics, pianist David Fung is renowned for his elegant and refined interpretations. With a repertoire comprising more than sixty concertos, he is regularly invited to perform with leading American orchestras, including the Cleveland Orchestra, Detroit Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and San Francisco Symphony, as well as major Australian orchestras, in particular the Melbourne, Queensland, and Sydney symphony orchestras. He has collaborated with conductors such as Marin Alsop, Gustavo Dudamel, Michael Francis, and Christian Zacharias.
