The innovative sextet Turboprop, winner of the 2020 Juno for Jazz Album of the Year, recalls Art Blakey’s group The Jazz Messengers. The band also tackles a wide array of music, ranging from Charlie Parker to Claude Debussy to Radiohead, as well as various original works.
