Bourgie Hall presents

An Out-of-the-Ordinary Octet

Musicians of the OSM 2023-2024

Eight double bass players from the OSM will perform in the spirit of unity and fraternity that characterizes Pärt’s Fratres (Brothers). From 16th-century composer Gesualdo’s daring harmonies to the wondrous world inspired by Balinese music in Vivier’s Pulau Dewata, these performers will reveal this instrument’s infinite universe of sonic and expressive possibilities. Don’t miss this event!

In collaboration with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal
