The String Quartet : from Refus global to Today

Concert in connection with the exhibitions

This concert pays tribute to Rachel Laurin.

An ensemble devoted to music of the 20th and 21st centuries, the Molinari Quartet performs four works by Quebec composers, all witnesses to the ferment of artistic experimentation in Quebec since the publication in 1948 of the groundbreaking manifesto Refus global: Otto Joachim, Rachel Laurin, Jean Lesage and Jean Papineau-Couture.
