Trio Fibonacci - Kinder Surprise

Guest presenters

The prodigies of youth! They had barely left childhood when they were already writing pages of astonishing maturity. Brought together in this program, three piano trios composed respectively by Strauss (age 13), Mendelssohn (age 11), and Korngold (age 13) reveal the early brilliance of geniuses in the making. These early  works display remarkable mastery, yet are still driven by the energy, freshness, and spontaneity of youth. Kinder Surprise is an invitation to rediscover the childhood of genius—that fragile moment when audacity and innocence meet to give birth to the exceptional.
