Trio Fibonacci - The Seasons

Guest presenters

A stroll through two musical visions of the passing of time! In Tchaikovsky's Seasons, twelve short pieces each evoke a month of the year. From the comforting warmth of January - By the fireside, to the gentle, romantic June - Barcarolle, Tchaikovsky explores with finesse the nuances of nature and human emotions as time passes. Max Richter's Recomposed then offers us a daring re-reading of Vivaldi's famous Four Seasons. By deconstructing this emblematic baroque work, the contemporary composer infuses it with hypnotic music, a cross between classical, minimalism and electronica. The encounter between these two masterpieces invites us to meditate on the changing beauty of nature and the power of music to capture its essence.
