Wolfgang Holzmair, baritone & Olivier Godin, piano - Schubert's Winter Journey

For his last-ever concert in Canada, baritone Wolfgang Holzmair presents a piece to which he has returned throughout his career: Schubert’s Winterreise, a profound meditation on solitude and exile. Schubert composed this timeless song cycle just one year before his death.

A pre-concert lecture will be given by Jean Portugais at 5:30 p.m.

A voice masterclass on Schubert lieder will take place on Friday, October 31, at 11 a.m.
