50 ans après le rapport Rioux – Cultiver l’enseignements des arts au Québec

On March 16, 2018, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is hosting the Symposium Cultiver l’enseignement des arts au Québec. Under the honorary presidency of Louise Sicuro and Marcel Fournier, this special day is an occasion for people and organizations working in the arts, education and culture to meet and discuss art education, both general and professional, and the place of the arts in society. This Symposium draws inspiration from the masterful 1969 report of the Commission d’enquête sur l’enseignement des arts dans la province de Québec (the Rioux report), and seeks to inspire a new concerted mobilization between diverse partners to reaffirm the place of the arts in society and in the Quebec education system.
