A vibrant portrait of patron W. Bruce C. Bailey at the Cinéma du Musée

Starting November 29, the Cinéma du Musée will be showing The Last Salonnier. This film directed by Paul Sam Johnston takes a touching look at W. Bruce C. Bailey, a great patron of the Canadian arts world and a loyal MMFA friend. The short film will precede the screening of the documentary Vaillancourt: Isn’t It Beautiful, by John Blouin, in which the artist Armand Vaillancourt tells his story. Visitors can also take in 100 works from W. Bruce C. Bailey’s collection in the exhibition “For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you”: Selections from the Bailey Collection, which runs at the MMFA from December 4, 2019 to March 20, 2020.
