Hurry! There is only one month left to discover POMPEII, the exhibition that has already been seen by over 252,000 visitors since its inauguration last February 6.

With its remarkable immersive scenography, composed of digital projections and sound creations, this exhibition offers an emotionally-rich experience that transports the visitor nearly 2,000 years into the past, to Pompeii, the small provincial city of the Roman Empire that was frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

More than 220 archeological artifacts – frescos, mosaics, silverware, religious objects, musical instruments… – allow the visitor to discover the splendours of Pompeii and the lifestyle of its citizens.

On view until September 5, 2016, the POMPEII exhibition was organized in partnership by the Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto) and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli as well as the Soprintendenza Pompei.
