This one-day workshop invites you to discover surrealism, a movement currently seeing a resurgence of interest among contemporary artists. Following a presentation on the key figures of surrealism from the past to the present, you’ll engage in a series of interactive drawing and painting exercises leading to the creation of your own surrealist artwork. Watercolour, pastel and coloured pencil will be among the techniques explored.

Materials: All materials are supplied.

Reservation terms: Workshops with fewer than 5 participants will be cancelled.

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us by email at education@mbamtl.org at least seven 7 business days in advance of the course. This will allow us to offer your spot to someone else and minimize losses.

If your cancellation request is received before the course begins, you will be entitled to a full refund.
If the request is received after the course has started, you will be charged for the sessions attended, but the remaining sessions may be refunded, subject to a 10% penalty.
