Learn how to make wild or domestic animals come to life! This course offers an introduction to the study of proportion and notions of observation in order to help you create realistic sketches. You’ll also discover key techniques for faithfully rendering textures, whether it’s fur, feathers or scales. 

During this workshop, you’ll explore a variety of techniques including watercolour pencil, willow charcoal, graphite and pastel.

Instructor: André Pijet, artist and art educator

Materials: All materials are supplied.

Reservation terms: Workshops with fewer than 5 participants will be cancelled.

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us by email at education@mbamtl.org at least seven 7 business days in advance of the course. This will allow us to offer your spot to someone else and minimize losses.

  • If your cancellation request is received before the course begins, you will be entitled to a full refund.
  • If the request is received after the course has started, you will be charged for the sessions attended, but the remaining sessions may be refunded, subject to a 10% penalty.
