Bourgie Hall presents

Mercure Remix

Pierre Mercure Festival

A rare opportunity to hear Pierre Mercure’s Incandescence (1961) and Manipulations (1963). These two electroacoustic works were composed for dance productions, created alongside artists such as Françoise Riopelle, Jean-Paul Mousseau, Rita Letendre, Armand Vaillancourt and Pierre Moretti. Theresa Transistor—an electroacoustic improv quartet —brings the festivities to a close with a Remix based on sketches, fragments and work excerpts by Pierre Mercure.

In collaboration with Akousma
