Pallade Musica - The Bohemians - Online

Chamber Music

This concert offers you the occasion to enjoy one of Haydn’s most celebrated chamber works. From the German-Bohemian composer Carl Stamitz, a sonata for viola d’amore, an obscure instrument whose unique sound is said to resemble most the human voice. Works by Jan Ladislav Dussek and Leopold Kozeluch as well as a selection of Romanian folk songs round out this programme.

Presented by Bourgie Hall and Pallade Musica in collaboration with ATMA Classique

Dates: Live webcast on May 5 at 5.30 p.m., then available on-demand until May 19, 11 p.m.
