Discovery Days | Workshop: Drawing from a Plaster Cast

Try out the Museum’s School of Art by taking part in a 1.5-hour discovery workshop.

In this introductory class, artist Mary Hayes will help you develop your three-dimensional drawing skills by teaching you how to draw from a cast. You will learn to observe textures and the play of light and shadow in plaster reproductions of famous sculptures.

A well-deserved break to feed your curiosity and create in a relaxed environment.

• Workshop times: 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Several time slots are offered for this workshop to give MMFA Members more opportunities to participate.
• Complimentary coffee is served at the Salon as of 10 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to meet other Members who are inspired by art and want to create!
